2004 4 MATIC /Steering Wheel problem

Last night I pick up my new 2004 Almandine black S430 with every option. The car is great, feels a little heavier than my 2001 S 430. The New command is awesome. MAPS point up by default and the display is split screen plus it play DVD (no video) only audio (message pops up sayd display has been faded to reduce driver distraction. :-( MUCH better build quality than my last one.

One problem, there was a mixup with my order and I didn't get a heated steering wheel. Really need it now that it's snowing in New Jersey. Does anyone know where I can order the heated steering wheel, or what the part number is? I figured I'd buy it and have the dealer service department install it for me. Any help would be appreciated.

RE: 2004 4 MATIC /Steering Wheel problem

never mind, I've been told that That even though they can order the wheel for $1400. it won't heat because the car must be wired at the factory. oh well. After I've had the car for a full wekk I'll post a long review.

You may want to rethink this one. I also live in dirty jers and have the heated wheel on the 06. If you have "every option", as you say, then the car has a wood wheel. The heat only goes to the leather part of the wheel, not the wood part. Frankly, one option that i wouldn't take down next time.

The guy selling that is parting out the whole car even though it only had a minor sideswipe:
