With respect the CLS was released in late 2004. I am driving a MY 2005 CLS350. Time does go quickly. Don't want to cause a fight or anything.

You must not be from the USA, cause in the US they don't have a CLS350

Correct, I'm in Sydney, Australia. Maybe we get the same release as the Euro's. When did the USA get their first CLS? I assumed it would be the same all over the world. Most of the people here who have a CLS have the 350. Petrol is touching $1.70 a litre. 1 litre = 0.26 US gallons. Our dollar is almost the same value as yours these days. Does this mean that we are paying around $6.50 a gallon. Please correct me if I am way off. They are quite expensive as well. We are paying $180 000.00 retail for the 500. $150 000.00 for the 350. Its the frigging tax that does it. There are a few 2nd hand getting around for around $120 000 these days (the 350). I just love this car though and am getting nervous about the next gen whenever it comes.

No, we didn't get it until MY '06 as a CLS500 or the AMG 55. We've never had the CLS350 in the States.

The original Cls was made in 2004. But came to USA as 2006. Therefore new model wont be here in USA until late 2012 as a 2013.

I dont like this future cls I like the current one. But in 5 years it will make more sense.

And Im sure it will have design features not in these drawings. Features that will foreshadow the New CL( 2014)

I say enjoy the current Cls for 4 1/2 more years. Thats what Im doing. Ill have mine paid off just in time for the new one.

Even in the US the CLS was released in 2004, as a 2005 model though.
