New CLS Model?

Tried searching, but to no avail.

The facelifted CLS has recently arrived in Australia. Is there any definitive answer on when we can expect a new model to arrive?

I'm currently contemplating purchasing a CLS and I would not be overly impressed if a new model was to surface in 12-18 months from now.

In the last 30 years every model has run 8 years.

It's just a facelift anyway.

Hi. I am in Australia and have seen the new model around. A few are on the road. It is only a minor face lift. The main thing is the grill is now 2 bars instead of 5 and muffler tips are a retangular shape. The yellow indicators at the back flash a trianglar shape. New steering wheel (3 spoke). The only reason I can see to wait is you will get a bit more back on re sale. But will have to pay more as well. Really not that different, exactly same body.

But there will be a totally new CLS model in 2010. I posted some picture further down the post. It was the 'next gen CLS' thread.

Well, I've gone ahead and purchased one. Should be here Oct sometime.
