My '07 63 AMG is using (not leaking) about a quart every 1000-1200 miles--NE1 else have same issue? So much for recommended 10,000 mile oil change schedule

every 63 that comes into our shop is always low by 2-3 quarts of oil and that is one of the complaints. i fell too that those cars burn oil but according to benz its normal in those cars for the first 500-10,000 miles
mine has 16K miles and still using oil--i assume that because of the larger tolerances the engines overall life increases versus engines with much small tolerances and therefore more wear
