Post Rolling back my 2007 Odometer Mileage

I was at this shop in LA last week, and one of the guys who worked there offered to roll back my mileage for $300. I told him he was full of shit. Can you even do this on these new cars? The computer has to keep track of the miles?? Has anyone head of someone being successful at this, and the dealer not have any knowledge?

I leased my car and it's looking like i'm going to be like 10,000 over in mileage!!

Why commit fraud, just pay for the extra miles, you will sleep better at night

You can roll back your mileage if you have $1000 to buy an instrument cluster and know a shady tech. Its a one time deal when you install a new cluster, if he fucks up, than thats $1000 a pop.

Mileage in your key fob? Im 110% sure there are no mileage store in your key fob. the only other place that is store would be in the TeleAid control module, and thats on certain models only.

Anyone like to Prove me wrong since I code instrument cluster left and right for 220's, 210's, 203's, 202's, etc everyday.

Come on Bueller! You don't even have to drive it backward. Just put it on jack stands, start it up, put it in reverse with a brick on the accelerator pedal and you're all set...

the mileage is stored in EIS and Instrument Cluster, if you switch out the Instrument Cluster, the DAS can still read off of EIS

They can roll back the mileage on any car, take it from me... They think of everything and will flash all the computers and keys. Trust me half the used cars at the dealers are rolled back... Benz's too!!!
