interesting... so is there anyway that people can stop the mileage from increasing then? the reason I ask is I bought a very low mileage cls55 and am now wondering if it is possible the previous owner somehow stopped the mileage from increasing. any help would be great.

Cool Everyone knows that...

If you turn the instument cluster upside down and drain out 6 quarts of oil and run it up to exactly 110 mph, that the miles will roll back.

Try it.

Pay the $2500 overage, cheaper than getting busted. Or buy the car at end of lease.

Simple solution on a lease, trade the car in 2 - 6 mons b4 the lease is up. Trust me you will NOT be charge a cent on over mileage. I was 35k miles over on my other car traded the damn thing in wasnt charged for any extra miles. But it did lower the trade in value of the car. When a dealer pays off the car before the lease is up the lender will not care about the mileage anymore. The dealer is now the owner of the car and 1 they can either wholesale it or 2 sell it on their lot. So don't commit any fraud and save your $300 take your family for a good dinner instead.
