Continental tires

Anyone have Continental Contact 2 tires.I have 10 K on them, and the rear tires are shot.Dealer says it is normal wear and they only last for 8K to 10 K miles since they are soft tires. aia could see if I was heavy in the foot, but not so.....

I don't know if all the Contis are short-lived, but my ContiProContacts were visably worn after 10,000 miles. I had them rotated after 5000, did it again at 10,000 and the last time at 16,000. Total miles on them is less than 17,000 and I'm still driving on them but I seriosly doubt that they'll last past 25,000.

Yes, I've got those. Factory fitted on my CLK.

Current mileage is 16k miles. Tread is more than 50% of the original depth. i reckon to get about 30K miles with these. Maybe it's your driving style...?
