Does anyone know how to disable this annoying beeping? Does it require the star diag or can it be unplugged? Every time I open the door it goes off with the "don't forget key" message. I never take it out of my pocket, so I doubt I'll forget the key. Any ideas?
Is is a constant beep? I hadn't noticed but after reading your post I checked. For me it's just one short beep and the display message. Hardly noticeable
It's a constant beep, and although I can shut it up by pressing a left side steering wheel button I would really like it to go away. Mine's an '06; I guess by '08 they figured out it was irritating people.
