Change KM to Miles on Speedo

I have a CLS 320CDi and noticed that there is an indicator on the dash showing miles then a digital speed in KM, does not matter what I change in settings it remains KM, any help please or is it a software glitch

you play with the steering wheel controlls and get to the menu ( ithink) where it says how many miles you have left till you need a service you can scroll through and set it to KPH or MPH. Its all there you just need to play with the select up and down and the arrows up and down. Sorry but im new top merc myself.

For UK cars it can't be changed. I've been trying in mine, you need someone with access to a diagnostic machine and a good knowledge of German to change it apparently.
