Fog Lamp replacement

Well with less than 1500 miles on my shiny new 550 I was out on the highway the other day when the car in front of me kick something up which at first I thought was a piece of paper until it hit my front right bumper.

I didn't think much of it until I stopped and noticed a busted fog lamp!

While the bulb still lights, the glass lens is gone, the silver ring is cracked and there is about a dime-sized nick in the paint too. Needless to say, I need to replace the entire housing. Anyone know if replacing this is a DIY job or do I need to take it to the stealer for repair? Anybody have an idea what the housing will cost and/or labor involved with swapping this thing out?

I guess no one else has had this problem so I will be making an appointment next week to have the dealer look at it....I'm sure it will be on the north side of $400. I'll let all know what the charge is after it's all done in case this happens to you.

Well took the car in today to get the fog light replaced. $287 bucks.... Sad thing is, I was able to find the complete foglight assembly online for $115 but since I don't know how to put it on, I guess I'll have to pay the additional $170 bucks for labor. What a rip! I hope to get it back tomorrow after they look at the ipod integration too cuz it sounds like crap!
