I live in the Northeast and am looking at a 2008 CLS 550 with metallic paint, P1 package, and iPod integration. After some back and forth, the dealer is offering it at invoice price, about $65,900. That number does not include about $2,100 for destination charge & gas guzzler, and then sales tax on top of that.
Any feedback on what others are paying for similarly equipped cars? or any 2008 CLS for that matter?
Any general thoughts on how far under invoice dealers are going on 2008s these days?
Trying to wrap up a deal in the next couple days, so any experiences you can share would be great.
I am new to the board and just purchased my 08 yesterday. My fleet manager did 2k below invoice for me. Anytime you can purchase at or below invoice you are getting a good deal.
