About to buy an 07 cls550 need help

I have a choice from 2 different cars

07 with fully loaded p2/amg sport package, demo with 3500 miles, msrp ~79k and they will discount it 10k.

07 new with p1 and trunk closer msrp 72K and will discount 8.7K.

The diffrence in price is about $5K, which one you choose?

If you plan on modding the boddy later on, get the one with motorized trunk, but if you will keep it OEM, I will take the AMG body.

I'd get the P2 or shop around until you get every option you want. I have to say I like the trunk closer on mine. I also like the Xenon lights and was sorely dissapointed when I discovered my first CLS didn't have them. Ended up trading up a level to a p2 with trunk closer, parktronic, Ipod interface.
Better to get what you want than be dissapointed or have misgivings every time you look at her.

I'd say go with the AMG. Love my 550, but wish I would have waited for the AMG. Good luck and let us know your decision.

Hi. I'm on a deal for a cls550. some of you guys said that you got $9k to $12k off the msrp of $79k. you mean out the door or it will still add taxes and other fees to it? which means $79k - $12k = $67k. $67k out the door or $67k + tax...
