Does E-class wheels fit CLS ?

i been thinking lately to switch my wheels from my E class to the CLS. i thought it wouldnt fit, however i read a post today at the E-55 forum that they put our CLS wheels on their E. and it fits.

anyone can validate that information, i have no knowledge of offset and other technical info.

thanks

I have put our factory 18" wheel on an e-class and did not have any issue. Now, if you talk about a custom wheel from our CLS to an E Class, then you will have an issue based on the offset of the wheel.

They will fit but you will find that the wheels from your e class will not line up with the fender of the cls like it does with the e class. The wheel will seem 'tucked' in the rear. This is where offset plays a role.

That may be an issue with regards to the bolt length. The spacer may shorten the bolt to the point where you won't have enough thread for the wheel.
