my neighbor is deciding to trade up to the CLS, the problem is he is already leasing an 06' R350. He is already paying about $700 a month. He doesn't wanna spend to much. Here is his car. 2006 R350 Black on tan. AMG package, heating package, prem package, lighting package, 3 zone climate control, 2nd row console, power tailgate. It has about 20000 miles. How much do you think it would cost him per month to trade up to a nicely equiped 06/07 CLS class
He's going to be buried in car payments unless he has a big downpayment to put in the deal. First of all He is over mileage on his car, second it's only a year old. How long is the lease agreement on his RL? What is the condition of the car? All this will come into play when he tries to trade the car in. If I where him I would wait until about 6-8 months before the lease was to end

well depending on what cls he is going to trade for and also what kind of deal he can get. but i am positive that his payment will be much higher than his current R350 payment. but thats the price we pay for trading in and out of cars.. haha..
i suggest that he try to roll it all into his next car loan. just do the numbers. if he goes with less down, the payment might be higher, however how long does he plan on keeping the car for? and will the different in savings by putting a large down make a difference?
