Just Got My CLS550....

And I have some questions:


1) How do I get my sideviews to fold in when the car is parked?

2) I only listen to MP3 cds. I noticed that if I put a mp3 cd into the single cd player, I can browse through folders easily. However, if the cd is in the 6-disc changer, I haven't figured out how to browse through folders. Why is this? Is there a way?


3) What is this I hear about lowering the car using the STAR Diagnostics? I know nothing about STAR, can someone fill me in? And it's pretty cheap to do so too?


4) What's a good place to buy wheels? The CLS is black so i'm gonna go with chrome or black 20s. I'm planning on getting Lowenharts or Asantis....you guys know a site with good prices?


5) Am I able to play DVDs with the P2 package? I haven't tried yet, but it says P2 includes DVD Navigation. My cousin's CL played DVDs but only when the car was parked. Can I do this? If so, is there a way to change the settings so that I can watch DVDs while driving?

1.the only side mirror that will move is the right one and it doesnt fold in it will only tilt in reverse... move the adjuster to the right one as if you are going to adjust it and put it in reverse.. if it moves down your good if it doesnt the dealership has to put it on star to program it. If you look at the entire mirror unit you can tell that it does not move like the S-class does, only mirror tilt.

2. I dont know how to browse through anything on the cd player.

3. Star is basically the computer programming system they use to change programs for our car.. They can do it using star for as little as nothing or up to 1k depends on where you are and how cool the service center people are.

4. buy your wheels wherever you can find them the cheapest really.. once again it depends on where you are.. check the net for pricing and go to your local car shop and try to get them for as little as possible. Lowenharts are used alot by CLS owners and i have not heard of any bad comments on them.. just alot of people have them.. Asanti's you will find people that love them and people that hate them.. Look online and find 2-3 that you like and post them up on here.. then people can tell you what they think about your top choices.

5. No watching DVD's while driving unless you change your head unit out for a Euro unit around 1k from ebay or get the tv tuner by shipping your unit out to somebody..

If You want the Outside mirrors to fold when the car is locked One MUST replace the Outside Mirrors with Euro Power folding mirrors and the Control switch

I have them on my 2006 W211..they are a Nice option to have

The car Can be lowered Via the Star aka SDS

Several shops to purchase rims and tires depends where you are located

The Head Unit must either be reprogramed or replaced to Watch in Motion

I Have the Euro Comand and MB TV and can watch it In Motion...

So the dealer can lower my car via STAR? How low can they drop it? And is it adjustable?
