I purchased the clear markers with the silvered bulbs from ebay. Nice add in my oppinion.
The old ones popped out but it wasn't easy. I used a thin blade to gently pry the old ones up to where I could get my fingers around it then prayed and pulled. Out it came like a yellow tooth.

The new ones went in very easy.

Sorry to hear about your credit card problems. I use amex or my pay pal account linked to a special free checking account at Wells Fargo I set up just for Pay Pal.

I only keep a couple of hundred bucks in the account at any time. If anyone was able to crack pay pal they would only get the two hundred bucks.

Good luck.

Hello Kevin. The ebay link for the marker is expired. Do you remember the seller's ID? Thanks in advance for help.

I found I could just push the wheel well liner aside, reach in and pop out the fender lamps, ~ 45 seconds a side to unclip and remove.

awesome. thanks Kevin.

would anyone happen to pics of the clear markers lit up?

i was told by a dealer sales rep today that it IS legal to have clear markers in the US as long as light comes on amber. he says all import cars have to have amber covers due to some old stupid custom's rule. i'm not sure if i'll fully trust what he said because it doesn't explain domestic cars with amber lights. regardless, i'm kind of curious to see how they look lit up. thanks alot.

Your welcome, correct you can have clear markers with amber bulbs to be legal. However I roll clear markers and clear lights, cops have plenty of other things to worry about, I've never had a issue in the last 9 years.

Straight... You may want to check with the shop that does your safety inspection. I'm not positive, but I don't think our brothers in Cali face the same challenges we do with over-zealous inspectors flexing their muscles and failing a car for something so silly as clear bulbs in a side marker. Of course they have the fun of the stricter emissions inspections...

that's very good point. when it's time for state inspection, i shall talk to inspectors beforehand and go with one that'll let it go. good stuff.

i'm assuming the clear markers come with clear light bulbs. is that right?

gee, why do we have these stupid no value-add rules in the us?!?

thanks,

You can also find the bulbs and lense at the stealthauto website for about same price as ebay if you are concerned about sending money to a stranger
