This summer I would need to drive through some bad roads (gravel, etc). Maybe I can use my CLS raised with Airmatic DC and that would be fine, if I could replace my wheels of 18” and tires that are 245/40/18 (low profile – wheel diameter 653 mm (25.72 inches)) with 16” wheels and rough tires something like 225/55/16 that also provide the same (654 mm) wheel diameter for the CLS.
My question to this Forum is if I could mount the 16” inches wheels on the CLS. I heard there is a wheel bolts problem meanwhile Mercedes Benz does not like people to mount 16” wheels on CLS (unfortunately I can not have both a CLS and an ML suv!).
Thanks for any suggestion for the 16" wheels.
