easy exit feature

the manual on my CLS shows that the steering wheel and seat are supposed to both move when I exit the car, but when I look at the menu in my car I only have the option to turn the wheel on or off.

Any one else have this same problem?

You know when I picked mine up at the factory, the seat and wheel moved, and when it arrived back home, the seat doesn't move now. It's got to be in the programming.

I HAVE FOUND THE SAME THING AS KEVIN. ONLY MY STEERING WHEELS WORKS. I HAVE ALSO FOUND SEVERAL OTHER THINGS THAT WORK SOMETIMES AND DONT OTHERS...LIKE THE BACK UP MIRROR, IT ONLY MOVES IN BUT NOT DOWN ANYMORE, THE SUNROOF CONTROL WORKS DIFFERENTLY ALMOST EVERY TIME WHEN I TRY TO CRACK IT OPEN AND CLOSED, AND SOMETIMES MY CENTER AIR VENT FOR THE DRIVER WORKS AND SOMETIMES DOESNT??? I THINK THERE ARE JUST SO MANY ELECTRONIC DEVICES IN THE CAR, SOMETIMES IT JUST "MIS-FIRES" SO TO SPEAK....ANYONE ELSE HAVE THESE PROBLEMS?

Only the steering wheel ever moved for me. The other 2 Benz in the family, an R and C class both have the moving seats. I always thought this is working as designed for the CLS.

Steimann,

Your mirror dips when the selector for the left or right side is chosen, try switching
back and fourth from left to right side, that will affect the movement when going in reverse.

In the manual it only mentioned the steering wheel moving and nothing about the seat.
