Brembo Brake Info And Tips For Your CLS!

Okay so as you may have seen on my CLS I have the Brembo brake kit upgrade alot of people have msg'ed me weith questions so I am going to leave you guys some hopefully usefull information.

On My Car:

Mercedes CLS 380x34 8-Piston 15" Front Big Brake Kit
Mercedes CLS 345x28 4-Piston 13.6" Rear Big Brake Kit

So I did this upgrade the biggest reason for doing this upgrade was because I was getting a 20 inch rim on the car that was a open design. So with the wheel being open you would be able to see the brake behind the wheel. The stock brake in my opinion would have looked a little funny big wheel small brake. Beside anytime you do big wheels on a car it is suggested that you upgrade the brakes. I did all this work to my car with only 250 miles being on the car so I really didn't truly experience the stock brake. I can tell you though the stoping power of the new brakes is unbelieveable.

Okay a small problem that I did experience is that these cars have a Brake Pad Sensor I had no idea this existed (I am not super car savy). I had a message come on in the car saying tha the Brake Pads where needing to be replaced. I was like WTF these are brand new. Anyway my dad is a mechanic and has his own shop so I called him and swung by we lifted the car and bam the sensor was just zipped tighed. So I called brembo to see what the deal was why the brake sensor was not incorporated into the design of the new brake system well turns out that brembo is in the work of getting that done. So in the mean time I bought a new sensor so that msg would go away on the dash. When I put the new sensors on I shrinked tubed the tips so that they don't short out on any metal and trigger the sensor. So if you are getting a brembo brake system where ever you get it make sure that you talk to them about getting you the pads that make the sensor work they should be available now they said that will send me a new set if pads that will be here soon.

So I hope this help some of you out and sorry for the errors in the type up I am in a hurry I have class. Peace

Mo
