CLS 500 Cat Bypass Pipes ?

Does anyone have a source for CLS 500 Cat Bypass Pipes ?

Or an easy way to get a louder rumble out of the stock exhaust ?

Thank You !

Those things look really cool.
Will they mess up anything? I wonder if they will damage the car in any way?

the only possible thing that could happen is the dump leaking and the little switch breaking(to my knowledge of dumps)

just take off the resonators.. the exhaust on the cls550 is a multipiece exhaust. it can be done and thats probably the cheapest way to get a louder rumble from that v8....60 bucks the most to take the resonator out and put on a striaght pipe- 20 minute job,.

Yea but it's nice to have a cool switch to turn the car from mild to wild.

You should also consider the fact that an emissions test (at least in Washington state) can be required as often as once a year (depending on the car), and having to put the cats back on each year for the test can become quite costly.

There is a slight workaround to this...by registering the car to a PO box in a less populated county you can avoid it, but the legality of doing so is questionable. ...not that removing the cats is any more legal
