Anyone used it? Seems prettyeasy to install .... but pricey. Good results? I just bought some 20" Auto Couture wheels, and I am not sure if I will still need it, but I do like it low :-)
Wow ... surprised no one has installed this RENNtech lowering module? I have seen a number of posts on the Brabus ... but have found the RENNtech online for $1000 ... far less than the Brabus. And they look like the same thing. Anyone tried the RENNtech?
i purchased the module.. but haven't installed it.. MB bought back my car because of paint defect... i'm in new car again.. and still on break in period... after i get my 1st 1000miles service i'll find a place to get it installed.. will keep the board updated...
any body knows any good installer in northern virigina?
I am also in the DC area and I bought my car from American Service Center. Do anyone know if they do performance work there. I would also like to find a QUALITY shop to do my upgrades.
i've heard mix reviews about asc's service dept and aftermarket products...
what type of performance work are you looking into? brand?
btw.. what car are you upgrading?
I would like to install the lowering module but something like that I wouldnt want to screw it up. I saw Renntech has a whole list of part...even a SC!
a few years ago, i had some renntech parts related work done on my SLK by a mechanic in alexadria. pm me if you need contacts...
i was running 12.6 on 1/4mile on street tires...
i just got the RENNtech lowering module installed and i LOVE it!!! lowered the car 2 inches, still has good ride quality, looks great, can still raise vehicle for driveways, and with a flip of a switch...back to stock. all paramaters of the module are within factory specs. and it makes the suspension dampening feel a lot tighter when i put it into sport 2 mode now! i def recommend it to anyone that is looking to make their car look more aggressive and sleek!
total cost installed with the additional control unit under my dash was 1415.
