5" lip on just a 275 rear tire. It makes the tire look a lot wider than you would expect.

Lip width is not so much the impresssion there but the actual width of the rim. He could easily go up to a 10" width on the rim and keep the 275 going. Most multi piece wheels on the CLS go up to 11" making it necessary to put a 305 to keep the right look.
