That's the adaptive headlights. It's actually supposed to turn. So you're not going crazy.
I didn't know the CLS had that though.

RE: Question about CLS Bi-Xeon Light
The lighting package on the CLS500 includes bi-xenon lamps with active curve illumination, heated headlamp washers, and corner illuminating front foglamps.

RE: Question about CLS Bi-Xeon Light
In the U.K you cannot have the Curving lighs in conjunction with the AMG styling package. I may have it however but have not tried it on a dark country road.

Also, you could try driving straight, and just tipping the steering wheel slightly, so you just sort of veer toward one direction.
However, I don't recommend you do it on a busy two-lane road. Roads out in the backcountry do fine.[:D]

Non Turning Lights on AMG?? Why?
Why doesnt the AMG CLS have the non-turning lights (US). Makes no sense to dump a cool feature on an expensive AMG model.

Yes, it does have the active curve illumination with the AMG sports package. The only thing that does not come with the package is corner illuminating front foglamps.
