We decided on these adds and color scemes after looking at about 10 - 12 color combos...they have 38 on the lot right now, thats at 1 dealership for all you out of towners, and in SoCal, especially in Orange County.. we have a MBZ dealership every 5-10 miles apart......so I would say its far from a sellers market and more of a buyers market, at least right now..in South Orange County. I could have had a chioce of any of these, but they didn't have the color/interior/wood/options the WIFE wanted.
She didn't want the charcol interior because her current ride is all black leather with black carpeting...and it feels somewhat confined or smaller inside..(women)..but I must agree the Ash with the matt burl sure has a nice contrast, we prefered it over the the glossy darker colored wood, at least with the lighter ASH interior.
Any ways...I am somewhat jealous of the Euros being able to get it with a diesel...I would seriously consider it if it wasn't a old mans diesel but one with gettup and go...which it sounds a though it is..
I drive a 2005 Chrysler 300C..HEMI, and I was impressed with the 302hp and torque of the CLS500.
The wife also considered a Lexus GS430 V8..2006 model, but it couldn't hold a candle to the CLS.
She did drive it and like the backup camera, but that was the end of it...so back to MB dealership for negociations...got my price and got her car..on order.
Thanks agian...can't wait for her new ride to arrive so I can slip out on the tollroad to Newport Beach at top speed.
