Not quite sure but you will most likely get it around mid April because I am taking delivery of my CL63 AMG from Symthe European in San Jose C.A. after Febuary the 4th 2007
My understanding is that 2008 CL63 production for MBUSA starts mid-March. I would guess that the earliest CL63 to hit the shores would be late April / early May. I have a "1st decade" April build date and hope to see the car before the end of May.
I have CL63 on order now and they are saying: "indefinite". There are a few orders in front of me at this dealer. Nobody knows the allocation scheme or the build frequency.
Unless your dealer has a "PO Number" for your car, then according to my information, the car is not "officially" ordered. If he has a PO then you should be able to get a build date off of Netstar. As of a few days ago, my dealer advised that my "07/04-1" build date is still viable with no indication of delay at this time. He did tell me that the 030 performance package ( not one of my options) is on back order under the end of the 2nd quarter. At this time, I'm still hopeful for a late May delivery.
They shipped us the Chassis-Frame, And Motor Unit was seperate. When you order an AMG product, you sit with them and configure your car. For example my rear is about 3" inches wider than normal because AMG sold me different rear axel.
On Febuary 9th, AMG asked for the 6.3liter V8 back and told me they wanted me to purchase the CL65. So they shipped over the Biturbo model.
Latest word is that my CL65-2008 Model will be Registerable on April 9th, 2007. Final Price was $860,000. About $560,000 Dollars they charged me for Endowment because I charged them over 6 million dollars to use ECU code for Math Computations - MIPS coding
CL65 Order was taken from my friend at Intel - the guy owned some Chip Patents that they used on the car electronics system.
Talk to your dealership, tell them you want to be a part of the process, Engineer your own car, get patents.

I'll call Dr. Z in the morning and get to the bottom of this. In the meantime, stay in your room.
