Tough call. If I chose one to be chauffeured in, it'd definitely have to be the Arnage. If I'm going to drive it more than ride, it'd have to be the Continental GT.
It's actually a Rolls Royce Silver Seraph.. but I agree with you, if i want to drive by myself, I'd choose the Continental GT.. if I want to be driven? W221 S600! RR Silver Seraph/Bentley Arnage is too old school for the price, i love gadgets and toys in the car.. People say more toys = less reability, but who cares about realibility if you can afford these cars brand new, you broke one, you buy another one! j/k
Back to the thread, The Comparable CL for the GT is CL600 or CL65AMG, not the CL550 and just think it this way.. CL is "the flagship" Mercedes.. Continental GT is "entry-level" Bentley.. despite the VW parts in it.. it's still a Bentley...
Depends on what you are looking for really. Bentley is baller status but then again so it mercedes. If you are looking to get a "real" high dollar benz they have their "real" flagship which would be the maybach. who needs tint when you have curtains? But realistically its whatever floats your boat if you like the Bentley buy the Bentley, if you like the Benz buy the buy. Don't buy anything to impress other people because in the end you will be making everyone but yourself happy. Since you are leaning toward the vw brand have you checked out the new audi r10? two models v8 and a lambo v10 the v10 is starting out at around 130 from what i remember. If you want something that no1 has the r10 is the way to go forget the whoa factor you'll get the 'WTF" factor. the new flagship coupe from benz errr maybach --VVVVV
bentley.....that body shape is off the chain, the benz is nice, but you'll never see the same number of the "butlers" out on the street as you would the benz!!!
Just goes to show though. Even though the 65 is massively expensive and depreciates more, there are more on the road-doesn't that tell you something?
Well 1st off you do not see more cl65 on the road you see more cl 500-some 600 so lets be accurate. More Bentley to Cl 65 ratio doesn't that tell you something.
