Saw a new CL500 in black metallic for the first time yesterday. It looked AWESOME!!!!!!!!The pictures dont give it justice, looks far better in real life. The curves and lines are among the best I have seen from the MB designteam!! The Bentley looks old!

you're right...the Bentley does sorta look cartoonish, maybe it's the red color. But I was just looking at the CL again, and I like that ALOT better, just because it looks sportier, and I like the rims actually

VW parts

Yes I heard about VW parts in a Bently, SO? Nothing wrong about this. I heard/saw in Car TV shows that the Bently is a very well design car, well built and the interior has an outstanding quality.

But the Bently as also few minus points: Gaz milage very poor and also road sensation fade and quantity of dealers.

For sure Benz cars are one of the best cars for driving sensation and plaisure on the road. Not sure that the Bently will provide as much sensation as a Benz do.

So, I guess that its more a personal choice based on your car's expectations than on wich car is the best or not.

What do you think?

Agreed! People act like VW isn't the 3rd largest car manufacture in the world and hasn't had a direct hand in countless Porsches and Audi's for decades. In fact, if it stands that many of the Bentley parts are VW, that should actually RAISE your view of VW, instead of lowering your view of Bentley.

Do you feel the same about Chrysler using Mercedes products?

Since we're on the topic of Bentleys...

Which one would you prefer? The classic or the sporty version? I actually took these pics over the weekend while I was out in the area. We have a Bentley/Maserati dealership here so sometimes I get an urge to see what they have out for fun Well, that's not my only intention...j/k

Tough call. If I chose one to be chauffeured in, it'd definitely have to be the Arnage. If I'm going to drive it more than ride, it'd have to be the Continental GT.

I take part in alot of car show, here in NY and NJ!
I think the CL will be good to modify and it new!
im not concern on speed, i currently own 2006 cls 55 amg!
most likely i will go with CL, its just Bentley prices has drop so much, just got a deal on a gt for $119k.
will see waiting on the prices to drop on the CL or just buy both!

Overpriced VW
VW group actually made the Bentley more reliable, durable , better engine etc...
Just like when Audi took over Lamborghini.

Go with Bentley GT. Value wise the value of the Benz will drop 50% in the next 5 years, the Bentleys won't by that much.
