That car is stunning, wheels and all. All I need now is the gas price to keep rising like it is and artificially depress the price of big engined secondhand Coupes and in a few years I'll have one on my drive.
MEH, i like the previous CL much better...the front looks quite nice but the back is too big...not sleek enough...interior is lush though..
I don't reckon big Merc coupes should be sleek and slippery in the way that the previous generation was. They are the kind of car that's imposing in the same way that Bentleys always have been, ugly as the GT is, and that the latest 7 is.
Aerodynamic but still big and bruising is the correct formula for an SEC, always has been.
I truly adore this car and I think that as of right now it is the most beautiful car in the world.
Only thing is that I would rather own an S550, mainly because I just can't work out when I would want to drive a CL. I own a S430 now and am looking to upgrade to a S550, but I would not want a CL because I wouldn't use it everyday it only has two doors which is a type of car you drive on the weekends, but its not really a weekend car because its based on the S550 which is an everyday car. So its not that its pointless, but I can't work out what its for.
Its like a sport that has a mix of football and a mix of golf, it just doesn't really work.
I know many people will have arguments, but thats just my opinion, don't mean to offend anyone.
