Lorinser V12 already available. I test drove one in Japan over 460+ horsepower. New Aero Kit. VMAX dual low note exhaust. Beautiful widebody kit. New navigation DVD navigation and stero that is far superior than anything MB offers by professionals in Japan that only work on new Mercedes. Suspension drop 1'. 20' Lorinser wheels. Thicker Lorinser steering wheel, illuminated door sills, revised speedometer, the works. This is also a fully loaded CL. 0-60 in 4.8 sec. Will out handle and outrun the new CL63. Researching ways to import these cars into the U.S. in limited quantities because I find that Japanese Mercedes owners hardly ever drive their cars, put new navigation systems, are always fully loaded with options with tuning mods that are not avaialble in the US. Don't ever pay over sticker when you can purchase an import for less than retail. High end Mercedes are plentiful in Japan and they always give discounts.
These cars are from Auto Project D in Japan. You can't import these cars and even if you can, they're illegal and do not meet US DOT requirements. Plus, these cars if converted into US dollars run close to $200,000 especially the CL600 you are looking at. The Japanese consumer are more apt to buying a fully loaded Benz than the average US buyer, which is the reason why these nice Benz's with all their fancy equipment never make it to the U.S. Instead of trying to import these cars, try to import the parts like the lowering module for both the ABC and Airmatic, the special Lorinser speedometer guages, etc.

sorry Phil but the car can be imported because it is a CL, a model sold in America meets all DOT requirements, left hand, the exhaust can be put on after importation. Customs does not care about little things like suspension or body add-ons and would be around $140,000 if your convert the Dollar/Yen $1/121 yen and the 2.5% import tax. I have imported right hand drive cars to Australia and with all cars in Japan you can definately get another $10,000 off their already discounted price so it is cheaper than buying a CL over sticker and putting over $80,000 worth of options in it.

Of course customs does care about little things like suspension or body add-ons, but that's just from my experience. Importing cars into the U.S. is not as easy as importing cars into Austrailia, man. Trust me, if it was as easy as you said and after 'researching ways to import these cars,' I would have done it already. If you can do it and make a decent profit off of it, then great for you and import these bad boys. Good luck.

Hey where did you get this info, is there a website about these cars(specifically the cl that you mentioned), and is there anyway I can recieve a brochure about them?
