ANY HELP to ANY of the problems will be a great help PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP this loyal benz owner........
Here's what I found out. I had the same problems with no speakers on the drivers door. I noticed someone else with the same problem and someone with no power at all on the door.
The wires from the body to the door get cut/broken and nothing works. I pulled open the accordion fold cover and there were 3 sets of wires in plastic tube wire protectors. I felt around and the bottom one was the smallest and seemed to have a flat spot about half way between the door and body. I cut open that one and voila, 3 out of the 4 wires were cleanly cut apart and the fourth had 2 cuts into through the wire covering but not the wire. I attached 3 short new wires to rejoin the cut ones taped it all off and now its all good.
I suspect thats the problem with your door lights and probably your problems with the mirrors as well. I have an 03 cl55 so I'm not sure about yours, but mine has no tweeters in the shelf. It has a center speaker above the comand, 2 larger speakers (front and rear of each door) and a tweeter at the triangle areas by the mirrors. It also has the sub in the back shelf and its the bose system.
found the problems were the door wiring if any one else has this problem its the pink/pink+brown and the green/green+brown wires that break causing no speakers to work.
