Angry 2000 cl500 all sorts of problems

I need help after just buying this car I am pretty cheesed off after p/x ing my immaculate r129 I dont have any speakers on the left hand side working and no rears except the sub also the ec light on the climate panel cant be switched off which means no aircon could some1 please give me some kind of idea as i could really do without throwing endless amounts of money at this car...

Hi,
As regards your A/C (ec light staying on). This is because of a fault logged in the C/Control ECU. It could be anything but the most common thing is a faulty Evaporator sensor. (located in heater box). Once repaired the faullt will have to be cleared before system will operate again.
Not too sure about the speaker problem, but on the RHD models we had a lot of problems in the footwell of the passenger side, which caused havoc with the electrics(corroding connectors). I have also heard of problems with the Command units (radio unit)

thanks for that il give it a try the speaker problem is strange as o/s/f works fine dash speaker works fine and so does the sub so hope its not the command unit?? dont suppose you know if the rear speakers are on the shelf do you? I have read somewhere that they are in the rear of the front doors.

magic thanks very much i can see this cars gonna be a nitemare to my cash flow shuda maybe stuck with the sl!!!! guess they dont make them like they used to.
