Question: Issues with a star certified 06 CL 600 if any, has under 20,000 klms, what were the options, what problems after warranty.

If certified (aka starmarked) you are safe, like Ali said. From what I've read on here, the 600 12-cylinder engines can get expensive very quickly. There were no option packages on those, everything was standard.

Hrm

2006 had the M275 Twin turbo motor. My CL600 has the 5.8L naturally aspired M137. I have not had a lick of problems save only one: needed new links and all that in front. Chaulk it up to crappy New England roads. I will offer this: StarMark is your friend, and, you definitely want all the records. Now, an 06 won't be up for anything major any time soon. But, if you plan to keep it, invest in a bumper-to-bumper warranty. You will need to replace the struts around 70k, like with every other Mercedes that has hydro-suspension. These forums are remarkably thin with issues with these cars. I am thinking the C215 might be a good Mercedes. And given the times, that says something...
