I recently purchased a 2003 cl600 with 40k miles. I bought the extended warranty. This morning the red ABC warning light came on, followed by "drive to workshop" message. I recogonize that having issues with ABC can be somewhat common. That said, I have scheduled a service appointment for next week with Mercedes. The service department indicated that it was ok to drive until then! Any advice?
I can't really tell. It would appear that the nose is a little lower than normal. I have noticed that the ride is fairly "rollie" for lack of a better word. At normal speeds the car will take bumbs in the road but the car rocks more than normal and it isn't as smooth. It feels like the car sways a little more than I remember when going around a turn at normal speeds.

Get ready for the pain. ABC repairs are insanely expensive and the problems will reappear like cancer.
There were one or two recalls in Europe for problems with ABC, my local specialist checks it over every time I take it in to avoid any wallet heartache. The main issues were leaking or corroded pipes, and burnt out pumps.
Occasionally I will get the "ABC Visit Workshop" message when first starting the car, but if you switch off and start again it always disappears. Makes me wonder if there's a sensor waiting for a certain pressure to build up in the system.
If you have ABC off, though heaven knows why you'd want to, you get the big lean in corners and excessive road vibration that you're describing. It doesn't sound good I'm afraid... whenever I get an unusual message on the cluster I am always fearing for the £££...

Hi. My dad's CL600 (2000) did this about a month ago when i was out to wash it. I then looked under the car and saw that it was dripping a shitload of oil. turned out that it was a gasket that needed to be changed. Now it's okay
