hard to get car out of PARK position

for the last couple of weeks I have had problems getting the car to shift out of the PARK position. I have to sit there and play with it before it ever shifts. The car is under CPO limited warranty. Any ideas as to what may be wrong before I take this baby in? thx

Common problem...Sounds like you need a new shift module. Warranty will cover it.

awesome, thanks. I dropped the car off yesterday. They asked if I spilled anything in that area and I said no. I should hear something back today.
