wiper blades

does anybody know a good after market blade that should be used on the CL 500 or are they a dealer item only? and what is the number or type like a bosch or anco or what? if I have to pay $72.00 a piece I might as well go to MB.

I'm not sure of the lengths but you can buy any refill from what I was told. Could be mis-informed thou. Have you searched first? Would help ya.

thanks for that info, I was looking for 24" blades didn't know untill I just measured them and yep their 26"

Thanks for the Link, But I would wonder, how good are Trico Blades? and Can I just buy the Inserts?


I'm having a hella hard time finding the inserts for the Bosh, all I can find is replacement arms.

Chauss, That is very helpful lol. I was lost for a second on that link. But when I visited the Murrys by me, They only had the Whole arm. Do they sell it in just a refill?

I just replaced mine. The cheapest I could find was about $52/pair, but I can't remember if I got them at AutoZone or where. Even my "work vehicle" mechanic couldn't find them from his suppliers for less than $72/pair - his cost.

Not sure what type of blades your car has.
The OEM Bosch blades do not have a "frame"- they are entirely made of rubber. The only metal / plastic portion is the linkage mechanism where they attach. See pic on link:

I was quoted 15.99/ea at Advanced Auto Parts. They are currently out of stock - but should have them in a week. NAPA also carries them.
