Remove Rear Sub Woofer

Has anyone tried or successfully removed the rear sub on the CL500. I'm close to cutting the freakin' thing out with a Sawsall. There has to be a reasonable way to get this woofer out... Does anyone have any tips?

Thanks!

you need to remove rear seats & center console in the rear seat, its quite easy. take the panels either side of rear self off (lever out airbag sign theres a screw behind) then they will unclip. you are then able to pull forward your rear shelf and access your sub!

With regards to removing the rear seats. The bottom part pops right out. Then there are two bolts on the outer sides of the back rests. After I remove those the back rests feel lose but i can not figure out how to get the back rests to "unhinge". Do they slide out? Is there pressure points like the bottom part?

thanks

if i remember correctly there are also bolts by the center console, the console is just clipped in place and you need to remove it to get at bolt/ bolts. then you just lift seat up and out.
