Just got a 2005 cl600 with 26,000 miles on it. It might as well be brand new. It looks great! The interior on the new model is attractive, but the new command control system seems like a royal pain. Very happy with what I have. May upgrade to new model in a few years if I lose my mind.
Being an owner of a W215, I was somewhat resistant to viewing the new model. But after a weekend in West Los Angeles, the new model is really growing on me. Its front end is really beautiful. I do understand the overall fashion design statement that MB is making in its models overall. The W215 needed some design change sooner or later just to keep up with the SL, S, and CLK models. It was a nice compromise. I do like the profile better on the W215. I must say that the new line is not becoming at all in the S class. I guess that the only reason that I will not be changing to the W216 right now is $80K. Hope that the issues that plagued the W215 have been improved upon but that is another issue.
