I have an ML 350 and am no ready to get back into a coupe, because my last coupe was a 1995 S500 2 door ( best car I Ever owned ).
Looking at a 2001 CL 600 with 25000 miles
The other CL 600 I am looking at is a 2002 CL with 45000 miles
The price difference between the two is $4900 more for the 01 with less miles.
My question is what are the main differences between 01 and say an 02 CL and is 20000 miles less worth $4900 ????
From 01 to 06 they all very much look the same to me. Are there any main difference that makes 01 to say an 06 any better. I am assuming that the differences are minor or are there any main issues I should be aware of???
If I were you, I'd look at my driving habit and see how miles do you drive in the past. If you drive so little, and would like to keep your cars low miles, I'd say go w/ the 2001. Or if you plan of having it as a driver w/ somewhat moderate miles, then go for the cheaper one. On the long run, I'd sure get the 2001 w/ lower mileage because what is $4900 if you think about having it as investment (not really, but atleast price won't drop as much anymore). And if you look at a different side, imagine the 20k mi difference, that equates to about two A and B service which is about the same amount of money you'd spend on it.
Well 1st off I own a 1999 cl 500 1998sl 500 and a 2002cl600.
The difference between the years of the cl600 is not that different however the features may help you decide.Does either have keyless-go,Designo,sport package, rims and tire upgrades, parktronics, distronics, tire pressure monitor, voice recognition or auto trunk closer? I believe 2001 may not have keyless- which is way cool. The difference after 2002 is a twin turbo charger which boost the Hp from 368- to 493 also the navigation system is no longer with cd but a dvd also you do not need a proximity card for keyless go it is embeded in the key its self.2006 trunk closer and heated steering wheel came standard.IMPORTANT!! campaign on oil sensing unit very expensive.Problem pumps oil thru wiring and has to have the brain replaced.Good news it under the campaign and shouldn't cost you anything.
Anything else just ask.
