Can anybody help me, I need a front windshield for my 2003 CL500, a big rig hit me with a rock around 3AM and I couldn't get a plate. Anyone have ideas?

I called my insurance company and they told me to go to mercedes and get a new windsheild because I was covered for one.
Try that option - it might work.

How much was the deductable chucky300?
I want to see if its worth going through my insurance because brand new from mercedes my cost is 700.00 dollars.

I didnt pay any deductible...... It was considered "totally covered". See what your insurance says.

In Florida there is no deductible on glass. That is FL law. Check this out in your state. I went thru w/s replacement on my '02 CL and found there are several available for my car, rain sensor, etc., so be careful of this. It's best to get it from MB, imo. They'll want your VIN to ensure getting the right one. My chip wasn't that bad so I had it repaired. It turned out okay. The glass guy told me that you want to be careful in deciding to replace a MB w/s as many buyers don't want a car with a broken factory seal. BTW, if you do replace it, I'm fairly certain it will show up on Carfax.

My insurance wants to charge me one thousand dollars deductable, I can get it from mercedes for 700.00
