Maybe the owner took it off? Maybe they want a descreet look? But it does look like a 600 missing two zeros with a three added on.

Dude thats because it is... On his site it claims that the "CL 63" is a V-12, when the actual 6.3 AMG engine is a V8. This dude is a phoney.

RE: CL63 AMG

That is not true. The 2001 CL63 was a bored out version of the 600 motor which is a V12. They were never imported to the U.S., but Brabus and Renntech made a few identical versions in the U.S. I know, because I almost bought one. Power was around 440 HP and from what I uderstand very smooth and flat as the engine was N/A and not turbocharged. This car was the true predecessor to the CL65 AMG. The new AMG 63 is indeed a V8, but what we are talking about here was a V12.

Hey man, why call the guy a phoney? what reason would he have to post a fake car here? This car is a very rare car and a good catch for whoever buys it. There were only 26 made and I am sure one day it may be very valuable. Apparently you can get the car without the body kit overseas.

Looks stunning in white, alough i have a feeling that a CL65 would be better cause of the Twinturbos, prolly a bit more fun !

RE: CL63 AMG

63s were considered special orders from amg. You could get them into the states, but it was a difficult process considering that some dealers might not have known what the car was. It was very fast. The S class and the Cl class both had the engine. But, if I am not mistaken there was a G63 as well.
