Yes, a very basic post, but for those who don't have access to WIS, I thought I would use pictures, rather than the sometimes confusing M-B nomenclature of "Press Button
S110f3"

I got it but the key is to have not only the mileage showing but the menu bar that says trip, audio ....etc displayed as well, then bamm but it asked just before confirm whether i want reset oil grade 295.3 or 295.5 hmmmm no idea what that is but i select 295.5. But everything reset tho.....thx

I think that you mean MB Spec 229.3 or 229.5, where 229.3 is good for 20k km (12.5k miles) and 229.5 is good for 30k km (18.5k miles).

The computer needs to know what oil you used to work out the next change interval.

No way of going back. 229.3 is for Western Europe anyways, not applicable for rest of world... IIRC.... This is for gas, diesel without DPF is fine, or if you have an SLR M155.

BTW- If changing your own oil non-AMG reach 80C at least, suction out the top preferred, for AMG reach at least 100C, drain from plug preferred, (because you want the oil cooler thermostat to open and so the oil there can drain, otherwise you risk overfill when putting in the prescribed amount!)
