Hi all. Another newbie here. First I want to thank you guys for all the terriffic posts, a lot of useful info and some incredible looking cars. I have a 2005 e55 that is currently stock. I'd like to do a few mods, starting with a bit more sound from the exhaust. Any suggestions or resources would be welcome. Do any owners in the LA or OC area ever get together for day trips or just to talk cars?
Big bucks for a new system which would get you few HP for the bucks. The stock system is quite good. If you want more sound and a bit more flow, remove the resonator and replace with an "X" pipe. I think some have removed the pre-cats but depending on your state/province legislation, you might not be able to do this. Instead of the exhaust, a K1 upgrade from Kleemann is not much coin but has pretty big gains. Good luck. Cheers!
