| Looking at an E55
Guys,
This should be a quick and easy answer considering the audience but here goes anyway. I'm currently driving a 2005 Audi S4 and I'm looking at maybe moving into a 2003 E55. I have always loved the E55 and now that prices have come down quite a lot for this model year, I'm considering it. My Audi has been an absolute joy since the day I bought it and I have never received so many compliments from complete strangers since I've owned it. However, mods are very limited for the V-8 and although the car is very fast, I want something that absolutely hauls ass while still hauling ass (4 doors and 5 people) if needed. I know all of the obvious differences between the 2 cars, but just wanted to see if you guys can talk me into pulling the trigger on this in terms of your overall experiences. Also, is 2003 a good year for the E55 since it was the first year with the 5.5L SC motor? Any problems to watch for? Besides pulley kits, ECU flash etc, what other mods can be done to this car like coil overs, exhaust etc?
