Disable 2003 s500 voice command system

Does anyone know if you can disable the voice command feature in an 02 s500 Command system? Mine seems to activate on its own... after that you can't control the system until you get the system to recognize a cancel command. This is pretty silly... i really don't need to give the car voice commands anyway. Can someone bring the sanity back to my life? How do you turn this thing off?

Either version code the car via the SDS aka Star Diag to turn off the Voice control

or

Locate a optic piece to bridge in line where the voice control unit is located to bypass the Voice control unit
