E50 AMG

What is a E50 AMG W211?????
Yes,this is E50, not E55.
Is it a regular E500 with an AMG look or is there any mechanical particularities.

On the best of days it would probably be an E500 with all the ///AMG bits (including badge),.... but missing the last 0 in 500.

These cars are NOT what a AMG purist would call a REAL AMG, it would be considered more of a wannabe AMG car. Personally I dont care if it is an E220 CDI with all the right styling,... as long as it looks good, it's alright by me. (but power always helps)

What I saw was, from the outside, a real E55AMG, complete with the E55 interior trims, wheels, and everything else. The only difference was the badge on the trunk lid (E50 instead of E55).
The car was in the service dep't at my local Benz dealer, still untaged.
When I asked the service manager what it was, he told me MB had made an error when sticking on the trunk badge (Yeah, sure, I'm an idiot). A salesman told me it was a "special order" car they had just received for one of MB Canada's executive.
I'm still puzzled

Are you sure it was a W211? There was a W210 AMG E50
