My e55 is a 2005 model and I have 1,500 miles on. I love the car. The one problem I have is the following:
When accelerating from a standstill, if I continuously change the amount by which I press on the gas pedal, the transmition does something funny. It is as if it was going to switch to the second gear, but then it changes its mind and continues in the first gear for a while longer and then it finaly shifts.
It is quite annoying. I can get around it by pressing the gas pedal, keeping it at the same level until the car switches to the second gear and then further pressing the gas pedal.
