Purge Valve

Relatively soon after E55 purchase I noticed what sounded like a knocking noise in the engine. Sounded like a 65 Plymouth on 85 Octane. The dealer said it was the purge valve pumping gas fumes back through the engine.
When impressing someone with the ride of their life in the E55 they respond "What's that knocking noise".

Anyone else had this problem?

I have noticed a slight noise that sounded like knocking. But, yours sounds like it was loud. Mine isn't that bad.
