my car has a poping noise when listening to the radio, but only on AM. It sounds like a speaker is torn, but when I switch to FM, or CD (AUX), it sound crystal clear even with the volume way up high. Could this be a glitch? I often listen to AM radio for sports talk.

I haven't noticed this, but I only listen during NYC traffic reports. I do have the AM set to speech as opposed to standard or Logic 7.

I've had my radio just change stations, for no reason. The dealer said that MB is aware of the problem and will have a software fix after Feb 1, said that the fix will take care of some other bugs in the audio system.

Sports talk, who do you like? Local guys or someone National?

I'm a Rome fan (aka clone).

One of the stations here in Houston is 24 hours sports. They do carry Rome but they also carry the ESPN show and during drive home, they have the local guys.
