Poor design of hands free phone

I purchased the handsfree MB phone with my 03 E500 and have a complaint with no solution. Turning up the volume loud enough to hear messages playing in Voice mail also turns up the key pad tone so loud that when they are pressed it emits an ear piercing sound. There is no way to separate the two. I have to continualy lower the volume when pressing the key pad for deleting or skipping messages then turnig it back up to hear the next message. Unless I am missing something what idiot designed this. The pad volume needs to be a separate function from the phone volume. Anyone else with this problem/ any solutions?

Phone noises

You can turn off the keypad beep on your phone. I don't know how with the V60, but have done it on every phone (probably 10) I've owned since the late 80's including many Motorola flip phone models. I don;t like/need the feedback every time I dial a number and especially not when you speed dial email as you are probably doing. Just get out your manual or download it, enter the commands and voila, no tones.

The commands on the cars key pads are not controlled by the mobile phone. The tones can not be turned off. I even called MB customer Care and they had no idea how to turn off the tones when the V60 is in its cradle...ideas anyone?

Do you have a phonebook saved to your phone?

RE: Poor design of hands free phone

Actually, I called AWS and finally discovered that the info on their website is wrong and Blackberry connection does not support speed dial....
