When you order a new Mercedes, what is the step by step process. I want to order the 2003 E320 and just wondering what I need to do, without speaking to a sales person right now.
Your delivery time will vary depending on the dealer's backlog and allocation. (8 to 10 weeks probably for a 320 - they build a lot of those - unless demand has changed recently??) Usually 2k or 1k down with no obligation to buy the car (meaning you can get it back if you change your mind) and no price guarantee. However typically they are going to want MSRP - I have no knowledge of people being expected to pay higher on an ordered car. When the car arrives you may be able to negotiate a better price but don't count on it with this car quite yet - there's still not enough of them in inventory. I have heard of some dealers not requiring as much deposit for repeat customers.
